Meet the Doctor
Dr. Katrina Zandberg, DVM
Dr. Katrina grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California, surrounded by animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to horses, frogs, and even a domestic goose. From a young age, she was deeply involved in animal care, volunteering with wildlife rehabilitation centers, local rescues, and bottle-feeding orphaned kittens. Her passion for animals naturally led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing holistic veterinary medicine in Southern California, Dr. Katrina relocated with her family to beautiful Redding in 2024.
Dr. Katrina considers it one of her greatest honors to support families through end-of-life care. She is passionate about providing in-home euthanasia services in Redding, allowing pets to pass peacefully in the comfort of their own homes, free from the stress of unfamiliar clinics. Her approach focuses on dignity, compassion, and honoring the profound bond between pets and their families.
In her free time, Dr. Katrina enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Redding with her family, hiking, visiting local lakes, and making the most of Northern California's great outdoors.
